Kixo needed a brand that better represented their big personalities and a website that showcased their variety of IT support services for businesses.
Kixo breaks the mould when it comes to traditional IT support. Their friendly team of self-confessed ‘nerds’ were something they were very proud of and wanted to reflect more in their branding. From Cyber Security to Telecoms and IT support, the company offered a variety of specialist services and needed a brand refresh and new website design to help elevate the business and promote Kixo’s USPs.
To give the Kixo brand a more contemporary and vibrant aesthetic, we refreshed their colour palette. We retained the brand’s primary blue, due to its psychological connotations of trust amongst consumers - something that is paramount to Kixo’s business. Within the new logotype, the arrows forming the ‘X’ in Kixo, symbolise the concept of support and connection between the business and their clients. This sense of trust and support is also reflected in the updated tone of voice across brand messaging and the new website design, whilst our strapline ‘Human powered IT’ clearly positions Kixo as more than just your average tech team.
Investing in thorough recruiting and training of employees is important to Kixo, as they understand how a high turnover of staff can result in poor customer service. To help humanise the brand and showcase the tight-knit team, we brought another element to representing Kixo’s personalities through the use of illustration. Using the secondary brand colour palette, we created playful team illustrations that add character to both the new website and business stationery.
Rawww redesigned and developed a bespoke mobile-first WordPress website, streamlining Kixo’s products and services and putting them at the heart of the website experience for customers. By delivering wireframes for the website it helped focus and improve usability, whilst we also supported Kixo in creating strategic landing pages and optimising content for SEO. Through the colourful use of team illustrations and friendly tone of voice, the website design now positions Kixo as a company that you would love to work with.
