After our successful brand and design involvement with the Motorhome and Caravan Show in October 2017 with a record 101,583 visitors, we got stuck in once more with the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2018 which took place in February.
The Motorhome and Caravan Show was largely aimed at the avid leisure vehicle owner / lover already immersed in their love of leisure vehicles and who use them regularly. The show showcased what’s new.
The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2018 however had a different target market; aimed at families, younger couples and those who have a love of outdoors but who may have not yet thought about using a leisure vehicle or tent to aid their adventures, our objective was to create a campaign where people could ‘enter a world of outdoor adventure’.
More than just motorhomes, caravans and tents (although the range was amazing!) there was so much to see and do. Visitors had the chance to try the climbing wall, do some bush craft and enjoy dog agility shows – there was even an ice rink!
We were really excited to get involved with the show again, especially due to the success of the previous show which the organisers were so pleased with. Once again, we did a full breadth of work for them, from the campaign concept and style to the strap-line – ‘enter a world of outdoor adventure’ – which captured the USPs of the show and the adventurous colour and imagery that looked and felt fun and inviting.
We also did their website, press advertising, outdoor billboards, show signage, graphics, communications, email marketing and more! Our client was so happy with the way we brought their vision to life, as well as the positive feedback from visitors and the high ticket sales! It just goes to show that with the right branding and communication, anything can be achieved. The NCC Events Team said:
“We had lots of positive feedback. The design was easy to use across all channels and we had the ability to tailor some of the deliverable as the creative was versatile.” – NCC Events Team
An interesting mix of high calibre celebs was also a draw… Our greatest living explorer, Sir Ranulph Fiennes opened the show, sharing stories of his worldwide adventures, as well as inspiring people to enjoy more time outdoors. Rustie Lee cooked up a storm with her live cookery demonstrations, and resident TV-chef Dean Edwards and Eat Well for Less’ Chris Bavin also cooked up a tempting array of outdoor cooking delights. Oh and let’s not forget TV presenter Rowland Rivron had the crowds in tears of laughter with his humorous family caravanning adventures!
Sounds great doesn’t it? A fun day out for all the family, the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show will be back next year for even more to see and do for the whole family. In the meantime, the Motorhome and Caravan Show will be back in October this year.
